Raised on Television

Welcome to Raised on Television – where we binge just a bit on nostalgia. Your hosts are Gen-xers who grew up in an era of outstanding television. Join us as we pick apart the best episodes of television ever, at least according to the experts.

We start with TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All-Time (1997). We’ll guide you through each episode, complete with some delightfully pointless pre-show banter and sharp, witty commentary. Plus, we’ll give you the lowdown on the goings-on in the world at the time these shows first hit the airwaves. We'll also throw in some occasional special episodes (check out The Theme Song Special that dropped in June 2024).

It’s TV history with a twist – Or, who knows, it might just turn into the internet’s most chaotic grab bag of random nonsense! Tune in either way because, let’s be honest, you could use a good laugh ... and it's okay if it's with us ... or at us!

About the Hosts

Meet Brian and Stephanie, Your Hosts of Raised on Television

Brian and Stephanie have been married for over twenty years, and their love for each other is only rivaled by their shared love of TV. Brian is your go-to guy for anything and everything space, science, and a little bit of Star Trek—he could probably recite the Prime Directive in his sleep. Meanwhile, Stephanie is the 80s aficionado, especially if it would require her to go in disguise as Jennifer Hart ... or make an emergency trip to investigatge shenanigans in Cabot Cove.

Together, they bring a perfect blend of wit and deep knowledge to every episode of Raised on Television. Whether they’re debating the finer points of casting, discussing the happenings in the time an episode aired, or talking about what in a episode didn't quite age as gracefully as they are, they’ve got it all covered. Brian and Stephanie are more than just hosts—they’re TV buffs who love connecting with fans who share their passion for the small screen. So, if you’ve got a hot take or just want to chat about your favorite shows, Brian and Stephanie would love to hear from you!
